About Me
Noam Peri is an indie singer-songwriter who identifies as queer and is currently based in Los Angeles. Her music is characterized by a bright, clear voice that can deeply resonate with listeners and leave a lasting impression. Her lyrics are personal and enigmatic, often touching on themes of heartbreak and her unique perspective on the world. Noam's sound is a refreshing blend of 70s rock with electronic touches.
Born and raised in Israel, Peri completed her military service before realizing her true passion was music. She went on to study music at the Rimon School of Music and BPM College before moving to Los Angeles to pursue her dream. She completed the "Independent Artist Program" and has steadily built her career.
Recently, Peri released her first single, "Debbie," which pays tribute to Debbie Harry, an influential figure in Noam's music and artistic journey. The powerful lyrics express Noam's admiration for Debbie Harry's contribution to the music industry and the inspiration she has provided to Noam. "Debbie" is a fresh and energetic tribute to the iconic singer that can be felt with every note.
Peri's first EP, "Ofnaiam," was produced by Hod Sarid, a drummer and music producer who has worked with many critically acclaimed artists in the Israeli music industry. The two singles from the album, "Shemesh" and "3 Months at the East," received significant airplay on independent Israeli radio stations.
Peri draws inspiration from the music genres of the 1970s-80s and artists such as Blondie, Beach Boys, Buddy Holly, and Elvis. She uses that inspiration to create her unique sound. She is unafraid to open her heart to the world, asking difficult questions about love, societal pressures to conform, and pursuing one's dreams. Noam also uses her music to express the deepest feelings of the LGBTQ+ community.
".... it's clear that Noam Peri is a force to be reckoned with in the indie music scene. The dedication to creating a refreshing blend of 70s rock with a modern twist showcases her artistic depth" - Certified Bop Magazine.
